• Different Sorts, duo for violin and guitar, was awarded honorable mention in the 2009 Margaret Blackburn Biennial Composition Competition by the Pittsburgh Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota
• Warped for alto saxophone and electronics was selected for performance at the 2010 New Music Festival at Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL, March 8-10, 2010
• Tranquil InDensity for electronics: selected for performance at the 2010 SEAMUS National Conference at St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, Minnesota, April 8-10, 2010
